The Region was recognized as the best in two categories at the Multifaceted event tourism award ceremony held in Moscow in mid-October 2025 during the forum with the same name.
Sverdlovsk took first place in the category Best Regional Event Opportunities, while Yekaterinburg’s Sinara Centre received recognition as the best venue for medium-scale events intended for between 300 and 1,000 people.
